The Paddock Touring Park

We have just been awarded the Bronze certficate for North East England Tourism Award 2018 Holiday Park /Holiday Village at the ceremony in Newcastle upon Tyne this week - Thank you to all our visitors for making this new park a success.

We have made the draw for the returned questionnaires and are pleased to say that a couple with a motorhome from Derbyshire have won themselves £100 worth of vouchers and 2 nights on The Paddock during the 2019 season.

We have had a very busy season and would like to Thank all the people who came and stayed on The Paddock during 2018.  We have a busy winter ahead as we are extending The Paddock and by the beginning of the 2019 season we hope to have another 8 pitches, so do come and stay in this beautiful part of the North East.

The Paddock 

Robsons Touring Park - an 18 pitch, quiet caravan site  for touring caravans and motorhomes located in the small town of Wolsingham -  convenient location for visting County Durham.

The Paddock adjacent to our existing caravan and motorhome dealership and alongside the River Wear in the small town of Wolsingham.

17 Hard standing and 1 Grass Pitch all with electric.

Fresh water, waste water and chemical disposal point.

Shower and toilet block.

Coded Security Barrier.

Local information board.

5 minutes walk to town centre with public houses, cafes and shops.

5 minutes to lovely riverside walks.

Picnic tables on site.

Well behaved dogs on leads allowed.

Open March to October for touring caravans and motorhomes.

Large accessory shop, gas and awning sales. Caravan workshop on site - appointments necessary.

£19.00 per night including electric.

Complete site booking available for family gatherings, small rallies, local shows etc.

We ask that campers use their pitch in a peaceful manner and abide by the 10.30pm quiet time.

  • Children to be supervised at all times
  • Dogs to be on leads and under control
  • No amplified music please
  • Noise levels to be respectful at all times.
