Most modern caravan manufacturers will list the awning size in the handbook. If you do not have the handbook, take a piece of string and measure from the ground at the front of the caravan (A) all the way around the awning rail to the ground at the back of the caravan (C) - shown in the Dorema photo.
- Do not stretch the string
- Lay the string on the ground and measure it in centimetres
- This will give you the caravan’s awning size
PLEASE NOTE: All new awnings may leak at the seams when they first get wet. This is to enable the seams to swell. This is called ‘Weathering’. The next time it rains the awning will not leak.
